Charles K. Houghton died at his home, 628 Parry street, at noon today of heart failure, in his 53rd year. Mr. Houghton was born in Orwell, Oswego county, and had lived in Rome 16 years. His health had not been good for some time. He had a genial, kindly nature and had many friends who will regret his death. His wife, who was Sarah A. Golly, daughter of William Golly of Lee, and a sister, Mrs. F. A.Morat of Lee Center survive.
