Luther, Calvin, Calvin (2) (both of whom died in infancy), Rufus and Orison (twins), Polly, Dorothy, Patty and Angeline. Solomon Houghton had brothers, Nahum and Philip, and four sisters, three of whom married three Whitneys, two being brothers and one a cousin, and they lived at or near Marlboro, Vermont.⁸
