BiographyThe Rev. Kevin Ford is an 18 veteran of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship who has worked with graduate students and faculty at MIT for 15 of those years. He pioneered the Christian fellowship at the Sloan School of Management where he has developed a focus on the role of faith in the marketplace, especially on how it shapes the ethics of business practice. He has served as an ambassador of IVCF's Graduate/Faculty ministry to its sister movements in the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students around the world. This will be his second project with Coram Deo in Asia .

ObituaryCLARK DICKERMAN died peacefully with his wife Lillian at his side in Houston,Texas on November 13, 2008. He was born in Syracuse, NY to the union of Willis Charles and Olive Houghton Dickerman. Preceded in death by his sister, Berenice Dickerman Goergen of Buffalo, NY, Clark is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lillian, 4 sons and their wives; Jim and Patsy of Laguna Beach, CA, Bill and Debbie of Grand Prairie, TX, Ken and Charlotte of Coppell, TX, Roger and Darla of Waco, KY. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; Beth Dickerman Richardson, Chris Dickerman, Kathy Dickerman Krukewitt, Rick Dickerman, Kimberly Dickerman, Kelly Dickerman, Rene VanderVorst, and Alex Vincent, as well as 6 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 16, 2008 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Rosewood Funeral Home 3939 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, TX 77503. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 17, 2008 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 705 Williams Street, Pasadena, TX 77506. Interment with military honors will follow at Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Cross, St. Peter's Church or The National Parkinson Foundation.

Helen passed away on August 9, 2010 at the age of 92. Born in 1917 to parents Charles and Mary Sears, she was one of 9 children raised in Iowa. She migrated to California, worked in various jobs and eventually landed at Lockheed. Married to Robert Lyon in 1949, they shared many adventures together. He passed away in 1972. Helen married Don Houghton in 1977 with whom she traveled to 48 states and resided in Manhattan Beach. Don passed away in 1992. Helen was a long time member and past house chair of Manhattan Beach Neptunian Club and the Westchester Elks. An active volunteer, she also won National Sales Person of the Year with Tupperware. She is survived by her nieces, Grace Gieger and Pat (Joe) Doyle; nephews, Clifford (Polly) Nentwig and Bud (Ginger) Nentwig; her wonderful care giver, Gladiz Keneker; many friends; and neighbors. Helen was a stylish, beautiful lady with a great sense of humor who led a full, active and wonderful life, serving as an inspiration to many. Please sign the guest book at www.dailybreeze.com/obits.
