ESSEX JUNCTION -- Kathleen Anne Houghton, daughter of Russell and Anne Houghton of Essex, and Joshua Charles Waterhouse, son of James III and Jayne Waterhouse of Saco, Maine, were united in marriage Sept. 30.

The Rev. Roger Daly officiated at the double-ring ceremony in the First Congregational Church.

Anne Houghton, mother of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Aili Hautala, Cassandra Cote and Rebecca Waterhouse.

James Waterhouse IV and Jacob Waterhouse, brothers of the groom, were best men. Groomsmen were Andrew Grantham and Ryan Desrochers. Ushers were Selden and Gregory Houghton, brothers of the bride, and Jason Grantham.

A reception was held at Vermont National Country Club, after which the couple left for Maui, Hawaii.

Mrs. Waterhouse graduated from Essex High School and the University of Maine at Orono. She is a portfolio administrator for R.M. Davis Inc. Her husband graduated from Thornton Academy and the University of Maine at Orono. He is a building contractor with the JW Group. They reside in Dayton, Maine.¹
