Marriage date of 22 Nov 1744 for parents John Pirce and Hanna Stone in Harvard Ma; It would appear that Hannah
(Stone) Pierce died sometime between 1744 and 1747, and that Hannah
(Houghton)Pierce is instead the mother of Meriah Pierce. Looking into this
further it adds up. Hannah Houghton' s parents were Thomas Houghton and
Meriah Moore, which would mean Meriah Peirce was named after her grandmother.
Moreover, Elisha and Meriah (Pierce)Houghton were ist cousins once removed,
sharing descent from James Houghton and Mary Sawyer; 6th generation of Thomas Peirce of Charlestown, MA

Graduate of University of Minn. Member of Masonic Lodge and Rotary Club. Vice president of Robertson Shoe Manufacturing Co. (father and brother were other officers). Frederick acted as salesman. His brother misappropriated factory funds after large new factory was built. Family forced to move into apartment which is where their last address was (3101 Humboldt ave, South, Minneapolis, Minn.) Ted went to work at Honeywell's factory. 1933 Minneapolis City directory lists him as working at United Chemical Co, and living at 3020 Homes Ave. 1940 listed as salesman, living at 3101 Humboldt.^3,4
