She was born Sept. 23, 1914, in Caribou, the daughter of Andrew and Elise (Desjardin) Violette. She is survived by her husband, Bernard Houghton of Somerville; two sons, James and Gerald, both of Somerville; three sisters, Mrs. Corrine Walsh of Rindge, N.H; Mrs. Bertha Seilhan of Hallowell and Mrs. Blanche Daigle of Dexter; two aunts, and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours Church, Millinocket.
