DEATH OF MRS. HOUGHTON.

Mrs. Samuel Houghton passed away at her home on Snyder Hill Monday morning. She has been in very poor health for some time and her death was not unexpected by the family. She was found dead in her bed by her husband at an early hour in the morning. The conditions indicated that she had been dead only a short time. She was in her 79 year, as is her husband. She was a very pleasant old lady and with her husband lived with their only daughter, Mrs. Reuben Smith, where they were kindly cared for and everything done to make their heme pleasant. She leaves to mourn for her an aged husband, who is in very poor health, and one son, Charles, who resides in Ohio and Mrs. Smith. Funeral services were from the house Wednesday, conducted by Rev. O. C. Baker. Interment on the family lot at Brooksgrove.
