Deceased Name: Clifford Elwood Houghton
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005, in Bateman Carroll Funeral Home for Clifford Elwood Houghton, who died Aug. 26 at age 93.

Mr. Houghton was born May 22, 1912, in Wallowa. He moved in 1937 to Portland and in 1955 to Gresham. He was a salesman for Smith's Home Furnishings. In 1936, he married Opal Kelley; she died in 1989.

Survivors include his son, Gary; daughter, Myrna Eisenzimmer; sister, Laura Krist; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.⁶
