Mr. Houghton, who also served in World War I. was the officer in charge of reactivating the Opalock Air Base in 1951. He was a native of Boston and moved to Miami 14 yean ago where he resided at 8830 SW 30th St. He is survived by his wife. Amelia; two daughters. Mrs. William McWhorter and Mrs. Joseph Gantier; six sons. Anthony. James. Richard. Jonathan. Charles and Michael, and six grandchildren, all of Miami.

The reason my grandparents were divorced is because Casco was a lady's man & had an affair & 2 children with an Amy . OAKLAND—Mrs. George Oliver has received word of the death of her brother, Frank Houghton, aged 59. a former resident of Oakland.
Mr. Houghton died suddenly early Wednesday morning at his home in Portland. He was a native of Sidney, the son of Charles E. and Alice Houghton. %
The surviving relatives are: his wife, Mrs. Feme King Houghton; his son, Elmo Houghton of Portland; two grandchildren; three sisters. Mrs. Ella Oliver of Oakland, Mrs. Maude Light of Waterville, Mrs. Lizzie Barr of Sidney.
Mr. Houghton was employed a* elevator man in the State Building. Portland.

BANGOR—Lloyd B. Houghton, 73, retired supertntenden of the Woodlands Department of the Great Northern Paper Co., died Saturday in a local hospital. He had worked 43 years for the firm, retiring in 1955. While at the University of Maine Mr. Houghton was an outstanding runner, winning the mile in the state meet. He was captain of the 1912 track team and a member of the cross-country team He was bom at Lee Aug 20, 1889, son of Everett and Grace Corbeet Houghton. He was a graduate of Lee Academy and a past president of its alumni association. Mr. Houghton was graduated in 1912 from the University of Maine where he was a member of Phi Kappa 8lama Fraternity and the Senior Skulls. He operated a small nursery as a hobby and was a past president of the Mame Gladioli Society.
Mr. Houghton is survived by one son, Robert W. of Bangor: one brother. Vinal A. of Lee: and two sisters Mrs. Mildred Lambord of Portland and Mrs. Lera Wentworth of Atlanta. Ga.

BELFAST. Aug 28 — Amory M Houghton. Jr.. 57. a hotel operator •nd an Insurancd representative, died suddenly Tuesday evening at a local hospital.
Born in Bath. January 31. 1900 he was the son of Amory M and Jane McIlwain Houghton. The Houghton family had been prominent tn the shipbuilding business In Bath for over a century. He attended the Abbott school in Farmington the Lawrencevllle school of Princeton, N. J . and was a graduate of the University of Mainne. Mr Houghton was in the hotel business. and had operated the Spencer Bay Camps at Spencer Bay, Mooseehead Lake, and the Countv Club Hotel at Rangley for the past flve years. He had been a representative of the Union Mutual Life Insurance Co. of Portland. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Bath, the Maine Consistory of Portland. Anah Temple Shrine of Bangor, the Waldo County Shrine Club of Belfast, the Belfast Rotary Club, and the Belfast Lodge of Elks. Survivors are his widow, Mlrs Elizabeth Houghton of Belfast; two sons from a former marriage 1 John R , of Portland. and Amory M Houghton. 3rd. of Cincinnati, Ohio: one sister Mrs. Ravmond 1 H Trott of Small Point and Prnvldenre. R I ; one grandchild. two nieces and one nephew. Internment will be in Grove Cemetery. Belfast.
