Mrs. Houghton was born June 12, 1880 in the Town of Worcester, daughter of George and Alary Foresee Terpcnning. She was married to Rennslar J. Houghton Nov. 15, 1916 in Oneonta. She lived for a year and half in Worcester, and a short time in East Worcester, and for many years was a resident of Oneonta. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and its Farley Philathea Class; the Order of the Eastern Star. Amaranth, and the auxiliary of BoilF&E.
Besides her husband she is survived by four nephews, Percy Terpenning, 11 Dietz St; Gerland Terpenning, North Hollywood, Calif; George. Terpenning, England, and J. 0. Magee, Albany, and a niece. Mrs. Edith J Wilson, Whitehall.
